Coffey Girls' Coffee Cakes is named after the most important people in Chef Lisa's life — her two daughters. Coffey is her married name, and she wears it proudly on every box that ships out the door. Every cake is a love letter to family, to legacy, and to the joy of sharing something truly special.

Our Story
From Family Recipe
to Gourmet Bakery
It started with Helen. Growing up in South Carolina, Chef Lisa's grandmother would take the children out to the fields to gather pecans — turning it into a game to see who could fill their bag the most. Then came the less glamorous part: cracking open every single shell so Helen could bake her signature Pecan Coffee Cake. The reward was always worth it.
That recipe was passed down with love — from Helen, to Lisa's mother, and finally to Lisa herself. For over a decade, she perfected it, baked it for loved ones, and brought it to every gathering. That original pecan cake, born in a South Carolina field, is the very cake you'll find on the Coffey Girls' menu today.
In the spring of 2019, Lisa gifted her signature Butter Pecan Coffee Cake to a new business in the neighborhood. The owner was so captivated that they became her very first wholesale customer — and Coffey Girls' Coffee Cakes was officially born.
Inspired by Helen's legacy, Chef Lisa began curating new gourmet flavors — Pistachio Cardamom, Rosé All Day, Blueberry Prosecco, and the new Orange Chai — each one a love letter to the original, elevated for a new generation.
The business is named after her two daughters — the Coffey Girls — carrying the family name forward with pride. Lisa's dream is simple: to pass these recipes down to her daughters and their children, keeping Helen's legacy alive for generations to come.
